Parent-Child Cognitive Coaching
Build Skills, Confidence, and Connection
Build Skills, Confidence, and Connection
Parenting a growing learner isn’t easy—and no one hands you a manual for the tough moments.
Homework battles, frustration over focus, endless reminders to stay on task—it can start to feel like you're stuck between wanting to help and not wanting to fight.
Our Parent-Child Cognitive Coaching program bridges that gap.
Through weekly sessions where parents and children work together, we teach practical strategies to strengthen cognitive skills like attention and memory, build academic foundations like reading comprehension, and increase frustration tolerance—all while maintaining (and even deepening) the parent-child relationship.
By actively participating alongside their child, parents learn to recognize their child’s needs in real time and gain the skills to continue supporting growth at home with greater confidence and connection.
It’s not about becoming the homework police.
It’s about learning how to coach your child with skill, patience, and encouragement—turning daily struggles into opportunities for growth, resilience, and lasting connection.
Parent-Child Cognitive Coaching is designed to feel practical, personal, and encouraging—never overwhelming.
Here’s what you can expect:
Initial Consultation — We meet with you to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
Weekly Guided Sessions — Parents and children attend together. We model cognitive skill-building activities, introduce strategies, and coach you both through playful, structured practice.
Think sword-fighting while drilling spelling words, turning a quick matching game into a memory challenge, or strengthening attention and processing speed through games like Perfection and Spot It—real skill building disguised as fun.
Every activity we model is carefully chosen to strengthen specific cognitive skills—like memory, problem-solving, sustained attention, and frustration tolerance—essential foundations for learning success.
Customized Practice Tools — Each week, you’ll receive simple, personalized materials to reinforce skills at home between sessions.
Ongoing Support and Adjustment — We adapt strategies as your child grows, helping you respond to challenges with patience, skill, and confidence.
You’re not just learning what to do—you’re building the skills to support your child's learning every day, in ways that strengthen both their abilities and your relationship.
True growth happens when parents feel equipped to guide—not push—their child's learning journey.
Our Parent-Child Cognitive Coaching approach strengthens not only core cognitive and academic skills, but also emotional regulation, resilience, and independence.
By working together during sessions and practicing at home with support, families experience fewer power struggles, more progress, and a stronger parent-child bond.
When parents know how to coach effectively, daily frustrations turn into powerful opportunities for learning, connection, and long-term success.
