I’m Katy, a Parent Support Coach, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, and Early Childhood Mental Health provider.
For nearly a decade, I’ve helped families navigate the early years with more confidence and less overwhelm. Whether I’m supporting toddlers with big emotions or partnering with preschool teachers and parents, my work is rooted in connection, compassion, and practical tools that actually make a difference at home.
But I didn’t arrive here in a straight line.
Before working with families, I served in the U.S. Air Force and later supported homeless veterans—experiences that opened my eyes to how early relationships shape who we become. That’s what fuels my passion for helping parents build strong, secure attachments in the early years, so kids can grow up feeling safe, seen, and capable.
I believe parenting doesn’t have to feel like guessing—or like you’re going it alone. When we shift from “What’s wrong with my child?” to “What is my child trying to communicate?” everything begins to change.
My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. You bring deep knowledge of your child. I bring training, experience, and tools that fit real life. Together, we’ll create a path that supports your child’s emotional development and brings more calm, clarity, and connection to your daily routines.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, stressed, or simply want to strengthen your bond with your little one, I’m here to help you make sense of the tough moments—and bring more joy to the ones that matter most.
As Frederick Douglass said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” That idea guides my work every day.
I’m Andrew, a Cognitive Coach with a B.A. in Psychology and over a decade of experience helping learners of all ages enhance their skills, conquer challenges, and improve their overall quality of life. My passion lies in designing tailored programs that empower clients to reach their full potential—whether they’re overcoming academic obstacles or looking to become more confident, organized, and self-sufficient.
I knew from a young age that I learned differently than most my peers. I was fortunate to have parents who recognized that and met me where I was—sometimes turning practicing spelling words into epic sword fights or other creative ways to help me learn on my own terms. Those early efforts made a difference, but it wasn’t always easy.
As school became more demanding, especially in high school, the gaps in my skills became harder to work around. Even though I wasn’t failing, it was clear that keeping up required twice the effort—and it wasn’t sustainable.
Thankfully, my parents sought out one-on-one cognitive training.
That experience changed the trajectory of my life.
For the first time, I wasn’t just working harder—I was building the skills I needed to succeed. It sparked my passion for learning and gave me the independence and confidence that had always felt just out of reach.
Today, that experience is at the heart of the work I do.
At Evolve, I combine creative solutions with proven strategies to help students strengthen the cognitive, academic, and emotional skills that lead to real, lasting success.
My mission is simple: to give students and families their own "aha" moments—the moments when learning finally clicks, confidence grows, and a lifetime of possibilities opens up.
